• Age 4: father murdered in LA.
• Age 5: moved with mother and sister to Miami Beach.
• Home life: hostile, volatile household, abandonment issues.
• Age 12: began sex and drug addiction: marijuana, hashish, quaaludes, prescription pain killers, cocaine, girls.
• Bullied in middle school: antisemitism, no friends, lonely, rejected, angry.
• Age 19: mother died.
• Age 21: Worked as rock and roll promoter, more girls, money, fame, drugs.
• Age 22: Met Fran. Shared our mutual love for Quaaludes, Crack Cocaine (life spiraled out of control).
• Age 29: Arrested for selling Quaaludes.
• Age 30: Convicted and sent to prison for five years.
• Age 35: 30 days in rehab for addiction to Quaaludes and Crack Cocaine.
• Resolved: 22 years of active addiction comes to an end 09/24/87.
• Fran dies from a heroin-cocaine “speedball” suicidal overdose.
• Bounced back from drug addiction into a sober life.
• Reconnected with my Uncle Butch (who had become my Aunt Gloria). www.myunclegloria.com
• Became an insurance broker, real estate investor, published author.
• Achieved financial success and founded a non-profit charity. www.animalcarenow.org
• Became a motivational speaker to help others find freedom and happiness.
